Postal workers protest possible layoffs

September 27, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) – U.S. postal workers staged a protest over possible layoffs Tuesday afternoon outside the Thompson Center.

Postal workers across the nation say they plan to rally in all congressional districts to save the U.S. postal service from faltering.

The agency has already announced it may end Saturday delivery and close more post offices across the country as a way to save millions.
