Careerbuilder job post – Sad.

Doing a job search for the term “derivatives”, I came across this gem:

Midway Airport Concession Airs -

is seeking a professional energetic, individual with pervious managerial experience. Must be able to give directions and execute derivatives in addition they must posses the ability to problem solve and anticipate potential troubles from situations, and be able to perform under pressure. Must possess knowledge of forecasting and inventory control. Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Word and Excel software products. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years previous experience in management. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to converse with all levels of management. Must be available for morning or evening hours. weekends and holidays. Applications mailed and accepted at 5559-3 S Archer between the hours of 9am-5pm.

I am guessing a black HR woman wrote this.

The name of the company is “Midway Airport Concessionaires”.
The woman doesn’t even know the name of the company that employs her.
As to what kind of “derivatives” she wants executed …. I am still trying to figure out what that word was supposed to actually be. Obviously her Word skills are not strong.
Unfortunately I do not have pervious managerial experience.

My proffered guess is that the intent might have been “execute directives” from upper management. As incompetent as the author of the job description is, I must give credit for the accidental use of pervious managerial experience. That is seriously funny.

I need to visit your blog more often. You’re right. That is sad, and it probably is an AA hire.
