270Straegies: Helping clients build people-centered, data-driven, and digitally-sophisticated grassroots campaigns that achieve their strategic goals and change the world.

It sounds simple enough.

270Strategies’ Jeremy Bird states to Politco that:

“With its diversity and size, Texas should always be a battleground state where local elections are vigorously contested and anyone who wants to be our commander in chief has to compete and show they reflect Texas values. Yet for far too long, the state’s political leaders, both in Austin and in Washington, D.C., have failed to stand for Texans. Over the next several years, Battleground Texas will focus on expanding the electorate by registering more voters — and as importantly, by mobilizing Texans who are already registered voters but who have not been engaged in the democratic process.”

“Texas values” not being represented by those elected?

270Strategies apparently feels it can represent “Texas values” but it also appears to be a front for Blue State Digital as that is the registrant of the domain name and the DNS provider.

Blue State Digital is a public relations firm whose claims to fame includes engineering:

The election of Barack Obama as President.
The election of Dilma Roussert, a socialist, as President of Brazil.
The election of faux Amerind Elizabeth Warren to US Senate.
Media campaigns for the DCCC and the NAACP.

The only available address for 270Strategies is: 734 15th Street, NW, Suite 1000
Washington, District of Columbia 20005.

This raises questions though as to what their true motive is as 734 15th Street, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, District of Columbia 20005, is also the address of Ebert & Baumann Consulting Engineers, Inc., a “green” consulting firm. EB-Engineering is led by Oliver Baumann, President, Diplom-Ingenieur, LEED AP, and Jochen Schäfer, Head Industrial Group, Diplom-Ingenieur, LEED AP, both documented green (no pun intended) card holding German nationals.

The EB Engineers website states:

Our entire work is committed to cost effective, energy efficient and sustainable solutions for our clients’ projects! With this in focus, we provide comprehensive consulting services that comprise integrated methods and modern tools.
Our services cover the entire life cycle of buildings and systems; our methodologies and tools are applicable for all types of buildings, as well as for industrial systems and processes..

Why would a public relations / propaganda firm share office space with a “green” engineering firm? And how would this public relations / propaganda firm foster a strong Democratic Party presence in Texas?

Destruction of economic viability of the citizens of a state creates a culture of dependence, making the residents the subjects of the ruling class. What would destroy the livelihood of the citizens of Texas the most and foster the greatest dependence?

The destruction of the oil economy. Why? People know who to vote for when their livelihood depends on it. If it is destroyed, they become as hopeless as those not as well compensated for their labor. Expect to see the demonization of refineries, pipelines, oil wills, etc. Just as with coal, they will claim that its mere presence poisons the environment, that its removal destroys the environment, that the use of it poisons citizens, especially the poor, aka Hispanics, because of proximity.

As they did for Appalachia because of its coal based economy decades ago, they came for Texas because of its oil. Because there is nothing more demonic to a green liberal than a “fossil fuel”.

Over the weekend prior to January 20, 2010:

An Oregon man was arrested Friday, after 135 pounds of marijuana was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop near mile post 70. The marijuana has an estimated street value of $675,000, according to Sgt. Don Allen.

“It’s the good stuff,” Allen said. Marijuana of this grade typically sells for $5,000 a pound on the street, he said.

Bond is set at $100,000 for Trevis M. Caplinger, 32, of Ashland, Ore. Caplinger’s attorney said his client has no criminal history and is unemployed after working in the banking and real estate industries. Caplinger cooperated with the arresting officer and was not carrying any weapons, according to his attorney.

Deputy Attorney General Heidi Linngren described the significant quantity of marijuana as dangerous to the community when she asked 7th Circuit Court Magistrate Judge Shawn Pahlke for the high bond.

Caplinger was passing through the state and has no connections to the area, Linngren said. If he posts bond, Caplinger must sign a waiver of extradition.

Caplinger is charged with two Class 3 felonies, conspiracy and possession of more than 10 pounds of marijuana. Each carries a potential maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. The conspiracy charge also carries a mandatory minimum of one year in prison upon conviction. Caplinger is also charged with a misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sourse: Troopers score two major drug busts: http://rapidcityjournal.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/article_57949b52-0630-11df-a01e-001cc4c03286.html

He then became eligible for early release:

Almost two dozen South Dakota prison inmates became eligible for release from the corrections system before the Thanksgiving holiday after Gov. Mike Rounds reduced their sentences.

The sentences of 270 minimum-security-status inmates were reduced because of their work on community service or special projects or completion of GED or firefighter certification.

The sentence reductions are in 90-day, 120-day and 150-day increments.

The inmates became eligible for the commutation once they met the service criteria, did not have any major disciplinary infractions on their record and had not violated any supervised releases, said Michael Winder, communications director for the state Department of Corrections.

The commutations are typically done at the end of the calendar year, Winder said. Rounds signed an Order Granting Commutations of Sentence Nov. 15 and Nov. 23.

The inmates who performed community service work assisted with storm or flood cleanups, or helped roof and tuck-point state buildings. Commutations were also issued to minimum-security inmates who completed their GED or firefighter certification.

Inmates who worked 320 hours on select community service projects received 90-day sentence reductions. Inmates who completed their GED or firefighter certification or assisted with special projects received 90-day sentence reductions. Inmates who fulfilled two of the criteria received 120-day sentence reductions, and inmates who fulfilled three or more of the criteria received 150-day sentence reductions.

Glenn Brenner, Pennington County state’s attorney, said he hopes the governor is seeking recommendations for commutations from parole officers who can attest to the inmate’s progress.

“I hope that’s all taking place,” he said.

Brenner said it can be frustrating for prosecutors who work to secure a conviction only to have a sentence reduced later.

Eighty-seven of the inmates are from Pennington County.

…..

CAPLINGER, TREVIS 90 PENNINGTON

Source: Gov. Rounds issues reduced sentences for 270 inmates: http://rapidcityjournal.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/article_57949b52-0630-11df-a01e-001cc4c03286.html

So from time to arrest to 90 day early release from prison, a total of 10 months elapsed. Which means he was sentenced to less than a month in prison per ten pounds of marijuana.

Well now he has a conundrum on his hands. He has a felony record.

How does he fix this. Easy. Change his name in the state where he got the felony conviction. From here forward, Trevis Michael Caplinger will be known as Trevis Titan True if the change is allowed ….

I love the first offense thing. What? Does he accidentally (translation: axidenlee) have a 135 pound bag of weed in his car. No criminal culture relations? Just a first offense and 10 months?

Let’s see if we can deny Trevis Michael Caplinger his change of name request.
Because if it’s allowed, it will probably only be his name until his next felony conviction.

Three weeks ago, I was pretty sure my job would be ending soon. I was doing nothing at work. Running some numbers and trying to help by finding a “house” for my boss. So I started “the search”. The search starts with research, so I subscribed to the Yankton (SD) Dakotan and the Sheridan (WY) Times, as local small area papers are generally a good refection of the community.

Yankton looks like it may have recently got “the problem”, but is inexpensive. Sheridan seems expensive but even menial jobs seem to pay 70% more than minimum wage in Chicago (lots of jobs pay minimum in a “sanctuary city”). There are still some other papers I want to check out, the search is not over.

Nobody is really interested in my algo without any of my own money (actually a ton of my own money) because it has “risk”. Yeah, it does, but it also has a huge reward if one side settles in the right range. Plus it multiple legs so the long side actually presents opportunity to roll the dice for a higher payout while taking a reward prior to closing. Liquidating myself to back it wouldn’t be enough, it has issues, nothing illegal though.

So anyways, I find a “house”, and we have moved in. My bosses algo isn’t doing what they thought it should to the degree they predicted …. I had a feeling. But then other issues arise, exchange obligations – confusing SRO regulatory garbage basically. We had no choice but to address these SRO exchange obligations.

So now I am pushing quotes into one of the most liquid trading pits in the world. Doing what I am pretty sure I was meant to do …..

Not in Paradise. In the place where I can do what I can do what I do best ….

Chicago

Until now, Evergreen Park, Illinois.

What you say, but your Chicago Public Schools teachers were just out on strike?

You heard me. They were just not going to work and disrupting other people lives in order to get their way. Yes, you heard me once again.

How many days did the strike last? Seven days. How many days pay did they actually lose? Zero. How long did the Lake Forest, Illinois teachers strike last? Five days. How many days pay did they actually lose? Zero.

Zero pay loss? The length of the school year is set by law. If the days are made up and the teachers who went on strike teach, they lose no pay.

Why is Evergreen Park different?

From the Evergreen Park Patch:

The Evergreen Park Federation of Teachers’ bargaining team walked out of contract talks Monday evening after learning that the Dist. 124 school board would not be allowing paying teachers or staff nor allowing them to make up missed work days lost during the strike.
……
The school district is prepared to forego state aid—about $7,000 per day—for each day the teachers are out on strike. Illinois public schools are required to carry 176 attendance days.

D124 Superintendent Dr. Robert Machak said the loss of teacher and staff pay for days lost to the strike was “one part of the conversation” during Monday’s contract talks.

“There was no discussion about it,” Machak said. “The union’s response to the board was that they got up and left.”

The state allows school districts five emergency days. Should teachers and paraprofessionals return to the classroom before the end of this week, no state aid or teachers’ pay will be lost due to the strike.

“If teachers come back Thursday this is a non-issue,” the district superintendent said. “You are paid to be in school in the classroom. If you voluntarily choose to walk out from that responsibility why would you be paid for that?”

Last night ABC Chicago was reporting that Evergreen Park would use substitutes for the required make-up days.

This from CBS Chicago:

The union said earlier contract talks ended when the school district threatened to not allow students to make up days lost to a school strike, or pay teachers for those lost days.

But the board has denied providing the union with a proposal denying students make-up dates for school days lost to the strike. The board said it did tell the union before the strike that teachers would not make up lost days, and would not be paid for them.

A statement from the board said, “the board does not intend to reward striking employees who harm the students, their parents, and the community.”

A strike is not a strike when you still get paid, it’s just harassing other people, and every single one of them should be arrested for creating a public nuisance when they play that game.

This is what I spend a lot of time doing anymore. Trying to stop the further destruction of America by educating others.

http://www.nationalreview.com/blogs/print/312807

And if you don’t know, Memphis closed it’s public housing just like Chicago. A study was done, crime followed the former residents. Where did the Cabrini crime go?
http://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/class-crime-in-memphis/

Memphis Schools failed, Memphis sued Shelby County and the county was forced to accept the schools into their district.
http://articles.cnn.com/2011-08-08/us/tennessee.memphis.schools_1_school-districts-school-board-memphis-city-schools?_s=PM:US

Here is a “timely” report that was “just” published: “Opportunities Suspended: The Disparate Impact of Disciplinary Exclusion from School”, By Daniel J. Losen and Jonathan Gillespie. August 2012

http://civilrightsproject.ucla.edu/resources/projects/center-for-civil-rights-remedies/school-to-prison-folder/federal-reports/upcoming-ccrr-research/losen-gillespie-opportunity-suspended-ccrr-2012.pdf

I say timely because: Executive Order — White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans – http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/07/26/executive-order-white-house-initiative-educational-excellence-african-am

“(vi) reducing the dropout rate of African American students and helping African American students graduate from high school prepared for college and a career, in part by promoting a positive school climate that does not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools, and by supporting successful and innovative dropout prevention and recovery strategies that better engage African American youths in their learning, help them catch up academically, and provide those who have left the educational system with pathways to reentry;”

Disparate impact: White kids have to be experience “disciplinary tools” at the same rates as black students. Affirmative Action Discipline … Example: Stan disses Shitavious by getting a question right that Shitavious couldn’t answer because he didn’t do his homework. Shitavious shanks Stan. Stan gets suspended for dissing Shitavious. Shitavious gets suspended for shanking Stan. And yes Virginia, there really is someone named Shitavious: http://nicholasstixuncensored.blogspot.com/2011/09/is-shitavious-j-cook-cold-blooded.html

Illinois has high black suspension rates, Cook County even higher. One school specifically cited in the UCLA CCRR report: Thornton Township High School – see table 4D on page 32 of the UCLA CCRR report (linked above).

Thornton (click Next: Students): http://www.greatschools.org/cgi-bin/il/other/3929#toc

I always knew the obese were more costly than plain old smokers just from observation and work habits, and from Risk & Insurance June 2012 p. 6, we have this tidbit from the “News and Notes” section:

Obesity in America is now adding an astounding $190 billion to the annual national health care price tag, exceeding smoking as public enemy No. 1 when it comes to cost. Obese men rack up an additional $1,152 a year in medical spending, especially for hospitalization and prescription drugs, John Cawley and Chad Meyerhoefer of LeHigh University reported in the Journal of Health Economics (Ed: who knew there was such a publication). Obese women account for an extra $3,613 a year. The researchers found even higher costs among the uninsured: annual medical spending for an obese person was $3,271 compared with $512 for the nonobese.

I, being singled out for being a smoker, and being charged more by insurers for being one, want the playing field leveled for all high risk people. This means the homosexuals and the obese. There is no reason “aggrieved minorities” should get a pass on the price of health insurance This would be like only paying stock dividends to people deemed “not to have too much money”. If they are morbidly obese, they ate their way there. If they are a homosexual with AIDs, they sucked/fucked their way there. They deserve to pay financially for their actions. It should not be subsidized by smokers.

Ah, another thing that has been taken from us by the USG. I know what you are thinking …. the TSA. No, the TSA has taken away some liberties, and forced submission to genital checks by people most people probably wouldn’t hire to watch their children, but it has not taken away the freedom of movement.

No, freedom of movement is slowly being taken from us. So slowly that we don’t even know it is currently happening or how it is being done.

We are constantly reminded by the liberal media that we have hit peak oil and are going to run out by the mid 2020s. Refinery construction has basically ceased to exist in the USA. Even one refinery going offline for a short time results in disruption of oil markets and an immediate spike in the price of gasoline at the pump because demand exceeds current production capacity. Yet since 1967, only 16 refineries have been built with a total capacity of 1,341,980 barrels per day. The USA uses 19.15 million barrels per day, yet new capacity of less than 10% of consumption has been built in this country in the last 45 years (note: there has been capacity added to infrastructure built prior to 1967, but we must remember that these are 50+ year old facilities).

A gas station fuel pump provides gasoline at a rate of less that 10 gallons per minute. The average fuel tank of a car is generally sized to hold enough gasoline for 300 miles of combined city and highway driving. If fuel flows at 9 gallons per minute and our example station sells gas to only mid-size cars with 17 gallon gas tanks and we allow 2 minutes for payment, we see that this gas station with 8 pumps can fill 120 cars per hour.

Electric cars ranges of 100 to 300 miles on a nice average day, on cold days batteries can lose up to 50% of their ability to provide power. Fast Charger recharge times range from 15 to 45 minutes to return to 80% state. Let’s make some assumptions for our test cars. Our test cars have a 200 mile range and can recharge in 15 minutes and our electric car charging station has 8 spots and uses a subclass of the Level 3 charger known as the Fast Charger. These 8 spots will be able to recharge 32 cars per hour. The Fast Charger is an intelligent 5 pin plug that is able to transmit data. To re-power as many vehicles as a gasoline station our charging station would need roughly four times as many spaces and 32 lines each capable of providing 440 volt 400 amp power (note: continual use of Fast Charger has been said to lower the range of the batteries in the case of the Nissan Leaf, the preferred Level 2 chargers of the Leaf require a 7 hour over night charge).

Now imagine another Hurricane Katrina hits a city in which Electric Vehicles are the norm. Or that urban vandalism destroys a significant portion of the power grid. The government is going to be in a situation where it is going to have to recommend staying put, i.e. declare martial law. Travel will be unlawful and violators will be able to be tracked via the “intelligent 5 pin plug” used for charging at Level 3 stations. Cash or credit is not going to be an option for Level 3 charging stations which will bill directly to your electricity provider. Unless someone has the ability or lack of urgency to stop for 7 hours while a full charge takes place with a slower Level 2 charger after traveling the range of the vehicle, travel will be not be possible. And do it again once the vehicle’s range has been traveled. And again. A five hundred mile trip in an Electric Vehicle could easily take days if one was to intentionally avoid using Level 3 charging stations. The very issues associated by travel with Electric Vehicles will be the reason that during emergencies that martial law will become the norm.

Thus we will be restricted to our villages, to either act as the residents of Fukushima in the aftermath of the tsunami or, or as those of New Orleans did in the after math of Katrina. In other words, in most metro areas in this country, it means the shit hits the fan.

Our movement is currently free from restriction in this country, except in the case of air travel. Without an identifying tracking device, be it either user implemented (iPhone) or government installed, a person with a pocket full of cash can go pretty much anywhere he or she wants in this country without leaving a trail. That will end with the Electric Vehicle.

Now I made be a little ahead of the game in making the above statement and declaring that the government is taking away the “freedom of movement” by promoting Electric Vehicles, but very few can wait 7 to 24 hours for a car to recharge just so they can go another two to three hundred miles, so expedited charging stations will become the new gas stations and use will require consent that information identifying who and where will be transmitted for this “privilege”.
